How we help
Reviewing the employment relationship
We examine the employment contract, amendments and related notices. The assessment looks at actual performance as well as the written agreement, and considers what the records and correspondence establish.
Payments and termination issues
We review disputes concerning pay, employment-related amounts and the ending of an employment relationship. A brief account or salary figure alone may not be enough to assess a claim or its value.
Settlement and representation
We assist with preparing claims and responses, reviewing settlement proposals and representing clients in employment disputes within the agreed scope. We also review agreements intended to resolve the matter.
Before you contact us
- The employment contract and any amendments.
- Relevant payroll information and payment records.
- Notices and correspondence concerning the dispute.
- An existing complaint or case file, if applicable.
The documents needed are confirmed after we understand the matter; this is a preparation guide, not a fixed requirement for every case.
How it works
Understand the relationship
We establish your role, the work arrangement and the source of the disagreement.
Review the records
We connect the requests to the agreement, payments and available notices.
Discuss the options
We clarify whether you need advice, settlement support or representation.
Common questions
Can an employment claim be assessed from salary alone?
Salary is one factor. The contract, duration of employment, payment history, notices and circumstances in which the relationship ended may also matter. We identify the documents needed for your particular enquiry.
Do you advise both employees and businesses?
We consider enquiries from either, with each engagement assessed separately after the parties and matter are identified. This does not mean we represent both sides of the same dispute.
